Best Tires for Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro

The Tacoma TRD Pro comes from the factory with Bilstein shocks and Fox coilovers, TRD-tuned suspension, and Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires. It is built for genuine off-road use. Most TRD Pro owners replace the stock tires at first wear with something even more capable.

Tacoma TRD Pro tire sizes

3rd gen TRD Pro (2016-current): 265/70R16 (standard TRD Pro), 245/75R16 (Trail Edition), LT275/70R18 (Trailhunter).

Most TRD Pro owners upgrade to 265/70R16 or go with 16-inch aftermarket wheel + 285/75R16 fitments after a 2-inch lift.

The stock 265/70R16 is the base TRD Pro size.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 265/70R16: excellent 3PMSF A/T capability at a lower price than KO2. Very popular in the Tacoma community for its value and traction.
