Does it cost anything to be listed on Rims & Tires?
No. Listings are free and always have been. We don't charge for placement, we don't sell ranking, and there's no upsell waiting behind the free tier. If someone tells you otherwise, it isn't us.

For shop owners
Your listing is free, it stays free, and you can correct anything on it by sending one email.
Short version: Rims & Tires lists 68 real West Georgia shops, yours included, at no cost. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. To fix a detail, add a service you offer, or come off the list entirely, email hello@rimsandtires.net and say which shop you are.
Rims & Tires is an independent directory for Carroll, Douglas, Paulding, Haralson & Heard counties. We're not a shop. We don't mount tires, we don't sell wheels, and we're not owned by anybody who does. Drivers come here to figure out which local place handles what they need, and we send them to one.
Your page was built from public sources: your own site, your Google or Yelp profile, BBB, chamber directories. That means it can be out of date, and sometimes it's flat wrong. A shop moves. A phone number changes. Somebody added A/C service two years ago and no listing anywhere caught up. Those are the things worth telling us about.
Nobody pays for position here. There's no featured tier for sale on this page, no "verified" upgrade, no annual renewal. A directory that sells its own ordering stops being useful to the drivers reading it, and then it stops being useful to you.
Send one email to hello@rimsandtires.net. Include the shop name and town so we know which page you mean, plus whatever's wrong. Corrections sent from your shop's own domain or a number already on the listing move fastest, because we can tell it's really you.
One thing we can't do: publish a claim we can't check. Certifications, awards, and "we're the only shop in the county that…" need something we can point at. Send a link and it goes on.
Optional, free, and it takes about a minute. Copy one of the snippets below into your footer or your about page. Each one is plain HTML with the artwork drawn inline, so there's no script to load and no image file to fetch. It won't slow your page down.

Sits well in a footer or a sidebar on a light page. About 260px wide.

</p>The rel="nofollow" attribute and the wording of the link text. Search engines expect embedded badges to be nofollowed, and they expect the anchor to name the brand rather than a keyword. Both are already set correctly in every snippet above. Changing them puts your site at risk, not just ours, so please don't.
Styling is fair game. Resize it, recolor it, drop it into your own container. Just keep the link pointing at your listing page and keep the two attributes as they are.

We built the directory from public information: shop websites, Google and Yelp profiles, BBB records, and county chamber listings. All 68 shops went in the same way. Nothing was scraped from behind a login, and nothing private was published. If you'd rather not be in it, email hello@rimsandtires.net and we'll pull the page.
Email hello@rimsandtires.net from any address, tell us the shop name and what's wrong, and we'll fix it. Corrections from a shop's own domain or listed phone number go through fastest because we can confirm who's asking. Most changes are live within a couple of days.
No. Shops are ordered by relevance to what the driver asked for and by where they are, never by payment. Keeping that honest is the only reason the directory is worth reading.
Not at all. Your listing exists whether you use the badge or ignore it. The badge is there for shops that want to show they're in a local directory, and for the handful of customers who'll click through it to see your other services.
Because Google asks for it. Links handed out inside a copy-paste embed aren't editorial links, so search guidelines say they should carry rel="nofollow". We follow that rule rather than bend it, which is also why the badge says "Rims & Tires" instead of a keyword phrase. The badge is for your visitors, not for search engines.
Drivers who use the free quote form get pointed to shops that do the work they asked about, in the towns they asked about. There's no fee attached to that either. Rims and Tires is a free local resource and referral service. We help West Georgia drivers find the right rims, tires, and installers and connect them with a recommended local shop. We are not a repair facility and do not sell products directly.
Email is the whole system. One address, read by someone who can actually change the page.
