Most of what we publish about Google review replies is a problem: shops that don't answer, or answer by arguing. This is the other side of it — three real West Georgia shops with the numbers and the actual replies to back it up.

Short version: we hand-graded owner replies to negative Google reviews across 68 West Georgia auto shops for our original study. Nationally in that same data,32.9% of replies (82 of 249) dispute the customer's account or defend the shop instead of addressing it, and 36% of negative reviews get no reply at all. Below are three shops — in three different counties — with real reply rates well above their county average, and, in each case, one actual reply worth reading in full: a shop acknowledging the specific complaint instead of arguing with it. We're not claiming these shops never miss — only that this reply, this time, got it right, and that's worth saying plainly.

Nobody asked us to write this, and none of the three shops below asked to be included. We're not selling anything on this page.
